I have been getting contacted by friends and fans to see if Bruce's new song My Lucky Day was written by me. No. It's just a happy coincidence that the song titles are nearly the same.
Bruce wrote My Lucky Day for his upcoming album Working on a Dream due out in January. It's a great track and you can see the video now on MySpace.
Lucky Day is a song I wrote back for the Songs for the Soldier project. In case you're curious, it’s a story about personal reflection, hope, help and salvation.
I hope you like it. It's one of my favorites on the album.
